Sadaf finished her bachelor's studies in Computer Engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2021. Her thesis was about implementing a Persian License Plate Detector with modified MobileNet + SSD architecture. She is now a master's student, studying Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Oulu.

I am honored I had such an excellent opportunity. Teaching is one of my favorite activities. I tried my best to teach my students what they need to learn and define relevant homework and answer their inquiries in the best possible way.
As I was inspired by one of my teachers, I tried to boost their confidence as well.

Deep Learning Specialization by Andrew Ng was a greate experience for me to get intuitions behind
Deep Learning. This course includes following sub-courses:
• Neural Networks and Deep Learning
• Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization
• Structuring Machine Learning Projects
• Convolutional Neural Networks
• Sequence Models
Each of them strengthen learners knowledge for certain purposes.
What I like the most about this Course is having a wide variety of real projects. I really enjoyed to challenge myself with them.

Machine Learning with Python covers the basis of Supervised and Unsupervised algorithms. Although its main focus was on Classification,
I found myself interested in Recommender Systems. Having several labs and well-defined projects walked me through the Machine Learning's world!

My main tasks included exploring on the Twitter data with NLP. I was under the supervision of Dr. Panos Kostakos.
Rahbin Sanat Nasir, Tehran, Iran (link) • September 2020-July 2021
At Rahbin Sanat Nasir, our main focus was on implementing advanced driver assistance systems. Currently, the company has developed forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and traffic sign recognition, driver assistance systems. Deep Learning and Computer Vision are our tools to achieve high accuracy with minimum cost. I was under the supervision of Dr. Behrooz NasihatKon.

After finishing Foundation of Computer Vision at university, I joined the Rahbin Sanat company as an intern. During this experience, I learned how to deal with real project from what I had learned at university.
KN2C Robotic Team, Tehran, Iran (link) • December 2019-April 2019
At KN2C, we were a family. Apart from what I learned in the Computer Science field, team working is the most important lesson that I learned at KN2C. As I was studying at university simulataneasly, Time managing was another criteria that was the most challenging thing for me. It was such an amazing opportunity for me to work under the supervision of Dr. Hamid D. Taghirad and Dr. Amin NikAnjam.

In this project, we implemented a Persian handwritten recognizer using Computer Vision and Deep Learning as the final project of Foundations of
Computer Vision course. After gathering the Persian handwritten dataset, we learned how to preprocess data and Augment it, design a Convolutional Neural Network, and
improving accuracy by changing hyperparameters.

In this project, we implemented one of the most important encryption algorithms(AES Rijndael 128) on the FPGA board as the final project of the Computer Aided Digital System Design Course.
Speed is vital for the encryption process, so as well as designing an efficient algorithm, we used FPGA to accelerate the process. Needless to say that after
completing this project, we learned the VHDL language.
